Guadalupe Mountains

Kevin, Doug, James, and I headed out to Guadalupe Mountains for a week of backpacking during Spring Break in 2006. We climbed the highest point in Texas (Guadalupe Peak, elevation 8,749), and we can now consider ourselves ‘True Texans’.

White Rock Mountain

Kevin, Doug, and I ventured out on our very first backpacking trip in March 2005. It was a full 3.5 days of hiking up to the tops of White Rock and Bush Mountain in NW Arkansas. We got out just before a snow storm blew threw!
