#22 – well, kinda

18 April 2004 No Comment

Yes! One more week closer until school ends. I don’t think I’ve fully grasped that I’m in college yet, and I still have this feeling that I’ve been at an extended summer camp. Living in the dorms might be partly the reason, and if that is case, then I’ll be a junior when I finally understand that I’m in college. Yes, that’s right, I’ll be living on campus in a smaller dorm than the one I’m in this year. How can you say no when about 10-12 of the coolest guys you know all want to cram into an Core dorm? But back on summer camps, I found out recently that I’ll be working at K-1 instead of K-Kountry (still part of the Kanakuk camps). To anyone not familiar with K-1 it’s a Christian sports camp for ages 8-13 year olds. This summer I’ll be a counselor and help instruct either baseball, football, or sailing (fingers crossed for sailing). More on this summer, I’ll be at Richland taking a history class. There’s still room so sign up for Trickel’s 9:40-11:40 Summer 1 class. Lots going on around here…I interview tomorrow to lead a Bible study with a student organization at A&M. So all is well here in Aggieland and I’m enjoying it so very much, but I can’t wait to get back home. I’ll catch you up on Parents’ Weekend in another e-mail.
